It comes as concave half-fruits, with a wrinkled skin and pale flesh, of a warm citrus scent and a bitter, aromatic taste. It is larger, lighter and milder than Zhi Shi, picked much younger: it is the age at harvest that separates the two peels, and it can be tasted.
